Very nice early 1858 Remington Army. Early model with standup silver front sight, serial number 19109. Remington accounted for about 31% of revolvers purchased for the Government during the Civil War. We know this one was under their contract as it has the inspector cartouche on the left grip. Extremely nice gun with much original bluing remaining.
