Very nice untouched Boyle & Gamble Foot Officer sword. From a prolific maker of Confederate swords this example has original wire and wrap. Blade displays etching and nice fault line as you like to see on B&G swords. Bold “CSA” on one side with flag and motifs displaying on reverse. On a 1 to 10 the etching is probably a 6. Clearly visible and in sunlight even nicer. Etched Confederate Officer swords are becoming harder to find at a reasonable price. Get an early present for yourself without spending a fortune.
